8 maj 2024 · I then had to machine the lower receiver of the ppsh to make room for the sks hammer and disconnect or to protrude through. I welded an extension to the disconnector so that it engaged with the ppsh bolt, it just needed to be .200 longer and .060 to one side, talk about precise welding.
5 kwi 2022 · The receiver is a 7″ long piece designed to trim and weld between the rear sight section and the barrel shroud. The section features a partly precut ejector slot and a precut trunnion tab opening. The receiver blank has the original thickness of .118” (3MM) and is made from mild steel.
23 cze 2006 · If the trunion IS intact you can buy an 80% upper receiver from Prexis http://www.prexis.com/sten/51.htm and weld it onto the old trunion/barrel shroud which will require only one weld. According to James, you want the Prexis upper that DOES NOT have the integral semi rail because AA provides a piece to convert the upper to semi.
