3 mar 2008 · PPS-43 SBR Build. My next project is going to be a PPS-43 semi-auto Short Barreled Rifle. USPS delivered the reciever repair section on Friday. The parts kit and barrel trunnion should be here within the next few days. Form 1 will be sent out shortly along with the $200 check. It is mild steel .070" thick and 14" long.

All of the main components are machined - not laser cut - from precision ground 4140 steel plate and heat treated for strength and wear resistance. Our fcg's use 2 trigger links while all others only use one.

PPs43 Semi Auto Conversion. This is for converting YOUR full-auto PPs43 bolt to a semi auto bolt. The hardest part about completing this semi auto build from a parts kit is the bolt and fire control group. I have several hundred rounds down range with my 9mm PPs43 reweld with no issues.
From what I have read and done already these things are so easy to build. $50 bucks for the parts kit $170 for the barrel, $190 for a semi auto fire control group and bolt mod. And just slap it all together.
