The "S" series ran from 92- 94 I believe. There were 4 models. S4, S6, S8 and S10 The S8's have a 1 x 1" dome tweeter 1x 7-1/2" driver 1x 7-1/2 sub bass radiator SIZE: 25" H X 11.5"W X 8-3/4" D Freq Response: 28Hz - 25Hz The "S" series is not a bad speaker. They produce a very nice soundstage, and a nice smooth midrange.
This is a must have for non common ground amplifiers and an improved interconnect for common ground amps. The soundstage absolutely blossoms with the Dreadnought. Includes 20 ft of Canare 4S11 Star Quad Speaker Cable (14AWG) with Neutrik NL4FX 4-Pole speakON Cable Connectors. Speakers: Polk 1.2TL w/VR3 mods and Dreadnaught interconnects.

Much better site than audio marts is Audiogon although there is a lot of scammers there as well, but there are some reputable sellers. Club Polk is proof that Matt and George and all of the Polk Audio team reached the world the way they wanted to. Matt, Al, Stu, Mark, Paul and even Micah have all been to more than one Polkfest.
