Located 10 minutes south of the Wisconsin-Illinois border in South Beloit, Pearl Lake was a former rock quarry. The lake boasts numerous underwater attractions such as sunken boats, an airplane, a submarine, concrete culverts, an underwater buoyancy course, and a bus.
You don't have to go all the way to the Bikini Atoll to dive a sunken submarine; you can find one close to home, at Pearl Lake. Located along the Illinois / Wisconsin state line, Pearl Lake is part of a fantastic inland resort which features great beaches, a number of underwater attractions for divers, and much more.
Throughout the scuba course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including scuba diving equipment and techniques. You earn your Open Water Scuba Certification card by completing your online class, 2 pool sessions & completing four open water scuba dives at Pearl Lake.
