History - Ottawa Park. Toledo's largest, finest Regional park. A 3.5 mile paved multi-purpose path encircles Ottawa Park. In 2009 it was named the Robert Brundage Bike Path for the late Dr. Brundage, an avid cyclist. In 1987, an Ohio Historic Marker, recognizing historic Ottawa Park in Toledo, was dedicated. (see photo at top of page).
Since it opened the Amphitheater has been used for church services, Broadway productions, Shakespeare plays, Magic shows, and lots of live music. Free summer concerts have been held since at least 1963. Your Park Board sponsors these annual concerts. See below and the Calendar tab for details.
