RadiantPraline8307. • 7 mo. ago. the reason some of us still use optifine is embedium and sodium and those mods do not have any form of custom sky support. and resourcepacks like fresh animations require optifine and yes you can get mods to supplement that compatibility. but more times then not an issue arises. -1.
17 sie 2021 · I can't be bothered to explain what I mean in text here, but essentially you need to make a new version, copy beta 1.7.3 rename it to say 1.7.3-Optifine, rename the json to the same name and edit the json and change the name in that too, then open the jar file, delete the meta inf folder, drop your optifine files into the jar, etc.
27 wrz 2023 · Because the most recent version of optifine available is for 47.1.43 and that's a review version, so no you cannot use optifine and forge for any version of forge after 47.1.43 and even if you do downgrade your forge to accommodate, some 1.20.1 mods are incompatible with it, i found that out trying forge 47.0.35 most good 1.20.1 mods like aether and twilight forest need 47.1 or higher to work ...

11 sie 2016 · First go to your search bar and type in %appdata% Second step: Locate your .minecraft folder. Go into it and search for the versions folder. Once you found it double click it. There are all versions saved that you played on. Now just search for the optifine version and delete the folder. Hope i could help you.
14 lip 2022 · Okay so this worked for me, so hopefully it works for you too. I extracted the Optifine file into my minecraft mod folder and everytime I loaded into a world, I'd get a crash report with the -1 Exit Code one. After a few hours of trying to fix this, I realised I wasn't on the version of forge that the most recent 1.18.2 Optifine was on.

21 wrz 2021 · Optifine has plenty of bugs that break some features of other mods. As an example, with Optifine, I couldn’t even use key binds with the hack client that I use. With sodium I can. I’m no coding expert, but I never understood how visual aid mod could break key binds. Lol. Also, Sodium’s zoom feature is way better than Optifine’s.
