27 lip 2022 · The PDF has to be transmitted (downloaded) to your PC one way or another. If you let Edge open the PDF, it still downloads the PDF but (depending on your settings) stores it in OneDrive/Pictures instead of the Downloads folder. Once the download occurs, you can click the PDF in the download dropdown and it will open the PDF in Acrobat.

29 kwi 2024 · I am trying to set adobe acrobat as default program to open .pdf files. I have adobe pdf reader installed on my PC. I right click .pdf file. It has Opens With: listed as Microsoft Edge. I click the change button then select Adobe Acrobat and hit select default button, but nothing happens. Microsoft Edge remails as a default program.
4 maj 2020 · Open the new Visio file > right-click the image > Ungroup all the objects I’ve tested on my side and it is indeed feasible, but as the author said, if you do not have a true PDF file it cannot be converted into an editable file, which means not all PDF files can be convert to the editable Visio file s, you can check the above thread to see more information.
However, it appears that "microsoft 's pdf" package is being used. Adobe gives me more flexibility so that is what I want to use. In the "mailapp", I have designated adobe as the default for pdf files and that works fine, but I cannot find a way to set Adobe in outlook. I have checked settings and cannot find this option. I am using Windows 10 pro.
