ArtWalks are free to the public every Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. throughout Old Town Scottsdale. Galleries, restaurants and other venues remain open for evening events such as the seasonal Gold Palette ArtWalk, which occurs monthly from November through July.

Every Thursday, the Arts District hosts an ArtWalk from 6.30pm – 9pm with live music and special events. Western Spirit is free for Scottsdale residents during ArtWalk evenings from 5 – 9pm. The weekly ArtWalk is the oldest of its kind in the country with history dating back to 1975.
The art walk consists of a couple of streets filled with back to back galleries showcasing beautiful art. This Art walk provides amazing old town western vibes, walkable streets nestled on a street between bars and restaurants.
"America’s Original ArtWalk", this weekly gathering takes place every Thursday evening (year-round, except Thanksgiving) when all member galleries belonging to the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) open their doors to the public and show off the work of the Southwest’s outstanding artists.
