The Department of Finance offers electronic filing (e-filing) for General Corporate Tax (GCT), Business Corporation Tax (COR), Unincorporated Business Tax Partnership (UBTP), Unincorporated Business Tax Individual (UBTI), and NYC-1127 filers. NYC follows the IRS guidelines for Modernized e-File (MeF) exclusions (IRS Publication 4164).
As of May 5, 2019, you must use NYC.ID to access the Department of Finance’s SmartFile online application filing system. If you previously registered for the SmartFile system, use the same email address to create your new NYC.ID account.
