They do not mean "how far it sticks out from the face" or "how large it is". The term "noble nose" has a specific meaning in some past and present cultures, but not in modern AE.

You can help a noble cause (as in this thread), work for one, raise money for one, and many more things - but you cannot "do" one. What meaning did you want to express with this phrase?

If you need to keep "brow" (« front ») in your sentence, you could say : « tu as le noble front de ton grand-père ».

  7. 11 gru 2013 · If you used "noble trees", I'd get the idea that the trees were unusually fine or valuable, but I'm not sure that I'd understand that they were very large and old. I'd probably use "ancient" to describe such trees. It would also make sense to use "very large, old trees": Ancient trees must be protected/Very large, old trees must be protected.
