1 lip 2010 · In order to obtain certain documents, like a standard driver license, or to verify changes to your driver record, you must prove your identity by passing the 6 Points of ID plus a Social Security number, ITIN, or affidavit. You must also provide proof of your address and that you are a New Jersey resident.
For those customers who do not have a New Jersey driver’s license or non-driver identification card and only have a vehicle registration document, you may also process your address change online. To do so, log in to the web application using the number labeled “DL” located in the lower right side of your registration card.
You can change your address by calling the NJ MVC at: (609) 292-6500. Touch-tone (TTY): 7-1-1 NJ Relay. You may need to provide your: Zip code. NJ driver's license or ID card number. Social Security number (SSN).
