17 cze 2024 · Naloxone (Narcan®) Program. New Jersey Department of Health has issued a waiver that authorizes all certified EMTs and Paramedics to administer Naloxone to individuals experiencing, or believed to be experiencing, opioid overdose.
In order to obtain certification as a New Jersey certified EMT the student must: Attend and successfully complete a NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) approved EMT educational program.
The New Jersey Department of of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services has issued two waivers, one for expired Emergency Medical Technicians and and one for expired Paramedics to obtain a provisional certification.
