23 wrz 2021 · , the only problem is your rgb colors wont be active until the app launches in window. With msi center you can just set them and never use the app again, the color saved will display on boot. I already have OpenRGB, but unfortunately, it doesn't detect any RGB headers. It can control the RGB of the RAM though.
8 mar 2021 · You can control the rgb on your motherboard using rgb software on windows (eg. msirgb, openrgb, Don't use Dragon center). Using msirgb you can allow it to make changes, then click on the disable all lighting button (on the bottom). There’s a switch on the mobo to turn them off. There is no such setting in MSI bios.

16 paź 2022 · I never found a work around, without needing to install the MSI software. The MSI has some built-in memory. When I turn the desktop computer on from being shut down completely, the stupid lights come on for a brief second, and then sets itself to the desired memory profile on the GPU itself as the system boots after a brief split second.

20 cze 2021 · Unlike AsRock where you can some control aspects of your RGB in the BIOS, you need some kind of software (UI and SDK based) in order to control it the way you want on MSI As someone else who stated here, there is OpenRGB, and that's the only one I know of where you can control both the motherboard RGB and whatever RGB parts you have.

31 gru 2022 · All the other features like overclocking and downloading bios/drivers should be done manually. Center isn't really necessary in 2024. All the component software is better programmed via BIOS / PWM. It can be handy to bring up motherboard updates however (vs. scrolling through MSI website).

Shut down -> flick led switch on motherboard to off -> boot up -> enter desktop -> open mystic light -> set rgb off (or make change)-> turn off PC -> turn off power supply -> unplug power cord for couple minutes -> flick led switch on mobo to on -> plug power cable back in -> turn on PSU -> boot up PC and it should be fixed.
