21 cze 2024 · Error — Your McAfee update is either stuck at 0% or at a random percentage. Follow the instructions in the order given below. At the end of each set of steps, try the update again. If the update works, your issue is fixed and you can stop there. If the update still fails, move to the next step.
1 lip 2024 · I had to disable my McAfee antivirus protection for an hour, then try to install the KB5039299 update, and such worked to install it. Prior to doing this, I tried all kinds of things (turning off the network protection and proxy, restarting, troubleshooters, and other stuff), but the computer was stuck on 5% in the updating process.

19 lut 2018 · It was not happening before on Windows 10 but in the past few days whenever I check for Updates on McAfee it just shows the following message box but it never completes even after running it for many hours. It happens even if I close all the programs and/or restart my Toshiba laptop.
I open McAfee LiveSafe, I click on PC Security and then Update this app. But then the screen is stuck like this forever: https://i.ibb.co/FKtTJK0/IMG-20201120-153531.jpg. Is this normal or is it trying to update something? Can someone please confirm by following the above steps? Thanks
In the protection status area on the Home Page, click Updates, then click Check for updates. You can also check for updates by right-clicking the McAfee icon in your taskbar, then selecting Check for updates .
