Dr. Surbeck is a primatologist who studies the behavioural ecology of chimpanzees and bonobos. He leads the Kokolopori Bonobo Research Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo and teaches at the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology.
2 gru 2019 · Martin Surbeck studies the social behavior and cooperation of bonobos, the "hippie apes", in the Congo. He is a new assistant professor at Harvard and one of the few scientists who runs a bonobo research site in the world.
