17 sie 2021 · Not being able to use the "Restore" feature is a known issue in macOS Big Sur. So, you need to erase the disk, install macOS Big Sur, then transfer data manually, or with Migration Assistant/Time Machine restore.

27 lis 2021 · I am trying to clone my 128 the play SSD to one TB HD. I get into disk utility unmount both drives and do the restore option. I will watch the progress as it is displayed on my screen and find that at the end of the transfer it fails and displays OSStatus error 22.
So I wanted to clone the data from my internal 121gb apple ssd (macbook pro 2017) to my samsung 860 evo 500gb ssd. I booted in recovery mode and selected disk manager. I tried cloning with my external ssd being formatted as apfs or macos journaled and it both failed with the error osstatus 22.
