11 wrz 2006 · I was once fitted in a bike shop for Look 555 (2004-2005 frame) and was told that size 53cm Look 555 would be my size with either 100mm or 110mm stem. Looking at Madone frame geometry chart the head tube is 104mm (10.4cm) in size 54cm.
The 555 is built using Look’s tube-to-tube construction. The frame features an oversized design connecting to an oversized bottom bracket. The rear triangle features are designed to emphasize vertical compliance, and up front is Look’s popular HSC4 fork to handle stability and steering.

I'm considering buying a Look 555 frame but I'm not fully understanding the difference between their virtual and effective top tube measurements. I know I'm comfortable on a 53ish. I'm just not sure what numbers I'm supposed to be looking at on the 555 geometry chart.
Bought a 2009 Look555 frame from a local over Craigs list, built it with Campy Record 10sp group and Rol Race SL wheels. The bike reduces road buzz, corners with stability and climbs well. I am short and heavy (5'6" and 180lbs) and can lay down the hurt.
3 maj 2010 · you're gonna have to either sit on one, or find the geometry charts and compare them to your own bike. Here's one for the 555 origin (doesn't paste right so you'll need to sort it out 1st line is 51, 2nd 53....)
