LCARS Desktop Environment or short lcarsde is an open source desktop environment for Linux systems. The main goal for this project is to create a desktop experience that looks somewhat like a LCARS interface.
Installation. Note: lcarsde does not bring its own display manager. If one is required (e.g. a login screen is needed but not yet there) than install a display manager like GDM or SDDM additionally to lcarsde. With a display manager, lcarsde will be available in the window manager menu on the login screen.
