I built a pool as my own general contractor. 15 years ago cost was about 20k with spa 11k gallon pool and deck. I had quotes from 45-50k 8 weeks from breaking ground to finish, but in the summer it will take longer if the subs are busy.
The companies we are considering are Anthony and Sylvan, Blue Haven, and Xterior Creations. I would like to know what your experiences (good and/or bad) were if you used any of these builders to build your own pool. Please only respond if your pool was built within the last five years.
