The Dayabumi Complex is a landmark of Kuala Lumpur. Built in 1984, I’m sure it was very modern for it’s time. The 2 distinctive features of the building is the shape like a star, and the facade which is covered in latticework of repeating star shapes in the tradition of islamic art.
The design of the new project references the Islamic prominence of the adjacent Kompleks Dayabumi Tower and respects the surrounding government buildings of architectural heritage and national importance.
