KeepVid no longer allows users to download videos using its site or pro software. Since I'm an educator, I need to download videos to use in the classroom. Is there any alternative to keepvid? Thanks for Reed2018's recommendation, VidPaw.com is a great alternative. If anyone who needs one of these, may give it a try.
KeepVid. Has an extension that basically just feeds the URL to its site. This basically works, but you can do better. I've just used it forever. I recommend and ad blocker as their site looks like it could be scummy. I've never been there without one, so I don't know. I just recommend it because it works for me.
18 mar 2018 · But yeah, keepvid was great as you could load the entire channel's vids and select which ones you didn't want via visual thumbnail, unlike with command-line text, so that's too much work with channels with over 500 videos, which is why I won't be using it and just sticking with the program I linked to.
3 cze 2022 · I just tried it and found it very poor compared to JD2. It offers very little in the way of A/V options and it did not offer me a MKV container for the video that I linked above.

I'd like to download some music from YT but I don't really trust any sites i've found, i'd rather use websites than to have to download some app but if anyone can suggest something that won't download any viruses to my pc that would be awesome.
22 mar 2018 · If KeepVid doesnt work, try 1downloader which is one of my favorites. i've been using keepvid for months and never expect that coming. Me too. : (. Clipconverter.cc. I just get one from other similar topic called VidPaw, you can have a try.
7 sty 2019 · I'd downloaded entire playlists with it before, but it is a little tricky to install and use. If you're looking for music there are also some tools that can pull mp3s from services like Deezer and Spotify, but Im not sure if I'm allowed to post them here. https://keepvid.pro is working.
25 mar 2022 · The first step is to take a peek at the network traffic while you're playing a video, in order to understand how it is being sent. It is most likely dash or hls. Grab the url for the manifest, or at least a fragment if you can. Then, the second step is to determine if it is being sent with or without drm. JDownloader2.
7 kwi 2023 · Sort by: sawaguna. • 1 yr. ago. if it's not encrypted, then look for the m3u8 file in your browser network tab. And use yt-dlp or N_m3u8DL-RE to download. If it's encrypted, then it's the usual widevine stuff. So find the PSSH in the m3u8 file. Look for the license url. And use both on cdrm project to get your key.
