Kansas City Running Club was founded in 1978 and is a 501C(3) non-profit organization and proud member of the Road Runners Club of America and USA Track & Field. KCR is for adult and youth road runners of any distance and pace.
The Club has been active in the running and walking community since 1976. Our mission is to meet the needs of beginning, casual and competitive runners in and around KC; to be a fun, social outlet for the running community; and to provide positive support for our members.
Kansas City Running Club group runs (and walks) are FREE for members and informal. If you are not a KCR member, you are welcome to attend, try them out a few times by just showing up, and join once you have decided it is a right fit for you.
