For me personally, yes. I received a 1380 on first Kaplan SAT, and when I did real practice tests, I scored high 1400s to 1500s. I prepped hard over the summer, and when I took the real thing last month, I got a 1530. Long story short, take Kaplan SAT scores with a grain of salt. =)

The programs come with plenty of practice questions and practice tests, and their print materials are an excellent complement to their online resources.
