22 gru 2011 · Last week my 2002 WJ 4.0 4x4, 140,000 miles, started having low oil pressure at idle. I was at a stop light and the "check gauges" light came on. I pulled over and checked my oil level and it was good. The oil pressure would rise with rpms but would go back to almost zero at idle.
12 sie 2016 · A couple times when I was short on time or a trip was coming up I would let my mechanic do it, and I would notice the oil pressure would run 5-10 higher when he did it. He said he puts in what the factory recommends which is 5w-30, so I switched and have had great results with oil pressure.

18 kwi 2017 · A few weeks ago, my CEL came on with the P0520 (Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction) code and my EVIC would show oil pressure steady at 99 PSI. This is a known issue with the '13 and '14 Wranglers, so I had it replaced. A week later, my oil pressure starts bouncing up and down.
28 paź 2022 · Worried 26 psi may be too low. I use a mopar oil filter and amsoil signature series 0w-20. The jeep is also a 6 speed manual.
