Do you hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and wish to become an educator in Texas? Alternative certification programs (ACP’s) offer a nontraditional route to certification that may allow you to teach while completing the requirements.
Please note that in Texas, state rules require that iteach identifies you for a specific content area based upon the courses on your college transcripts. If you are not interested in teaching in the area identified for you upon acceptance, it is important that you contact our student services team by emailing admissions@iteach.net BEFORE enrolling.
The iteach Texas coursework consists of a two-part introductory course, 6 pedagogical content courses, and a residency course. Certain certification areas will require additional coursework completion.
