If you are asking this question because you wish to install a version of Red Hat, I recommend you give Fedora a try. The community support base is huge (and free).
Here is how you do it: As root type 'setup'. The dailogs here use the same controls as the ones used when installing RedHat 5.2. Select Xconfigurator. Hit 'ok'. Choose 'Unsupported VGA compatible' (you can push 'page down to make it a lot easier). Select 'custom' for a monitor. Hit 'ok' on the next screen.
3 maj 2016 · Another option: find a sub-directory (e.g., /big/) which has lots of data. Then copy that data onto your 60GB of space, mv the directory with lots of space (e.g., mv /big /bigback), and mount your 60GB (or a portion of it) onto /big. After confirming everything works as expected, rm /bigback to re-gain space on /. Share.

25 mar 2008 · It's not free but it's CHEAP (about $60 dollars...). It doesn't provide you with support but it does provide you with updates and software. If you want something that is FREE you can try CentOS (which is Red Hat without the Red Hat logo).-C
31 paź 2011 · If your're running ubuntu there is a helper package to clean all locations. sudo aptitude install trash-cli. To clean the trash in all locations just run: empty-trash. It should work with any linux desktop environment compliant with FreeDesktop.org Trash Specification. On newer versions, the command may be: trash-empty.
