So I downloaded a game from the site on the title, and I was a bit scared of my GOG launcher just poping up when I started the game (even showing my "activity page" of the game, like I owned it on GOG). My question then is: Can I be idk, banned from GOG because of it?

27 lis 2019 · Therefore, the fact that an executable is signed means nothing. Anyone can set up a fake company and create a signature for that company. This fake company can then use their own signature to spread malware. However, GOG is generally seen as trustworthy and so is their signature.
12 maj 2024 · Luckily multiple malware scans have shown GOG Unlocked itself providing clean file downloads. And major malware incidents remain extremely rare from prominent game piracy groups. No profit in killing the golden hacking goose for them!
