31 gru 2014 · This series shows the influence of Irving Klaw's S&M photos and stag movies of Bettie Page et al. A surprise hit, the trilogy paved the way for the hard-edged "roughie" sex-and-violence films of the mid-late 60s (a reaction against the fluffy nudie-cuties of the time) and also anticipated the psycho-stalker films of the 70s and 80s.
