Everytime i connect my ipod to any USB2 or USB1 port on my computer , it only charges and the 'Do not disconnect' message doesn't appear. So , i tried different usb ports and nothing seemed to work ( although , my printers , camera are working fine ).
17 lut 2008 · Most likely - an USB issue. Make sure it's a USB 2.0 or later port. If it's one of the new USB 3.0 ports, that may be an issue as I don't know if Apple has taken these into account, but I'm pretty sure the USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible all the way to USB 1.1.
4 lis 2014 · I have an ipod video (5th gen), and it won't connect to my new asus laptop since it only has usb 3 ports (I don't care if it will charge or not, I have a dock), my question is whether it could potentially connect to my computer so I could sync it if I use a usb 2 hub or something similar.
