Orientation & Special Meetings. New members of the Women of the Moose are invited to attend an Orientation program to learn what our organization and its mission are about. The Orientation is done in the same manner across our fraternity so every member receives the same important message.

The Women of the Moose are the female auxiliary of the Loyal Order of Moose. Like the rest of the Order, membership originally operated by racial discrimination and was historically open to only white women; it has since been integrated.

Our members dedicate countless volunteer hours each year to over 1,600 Chapters across the United States and Canada as well as their communities.

At the association level, there are 160 female officers, and women are the majority of some association boards. Women are also joining The Moose in droves. For example, 72,597 women joined the Fraternity in 2023-24.
