17 cze 2024 · In this study, we find that hyperbaric oxygen (HBO), a noninvasive therapeutic method, can effectively deplete the dense extracellular matrix and thus enhance the bacterial accumulation within...
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) can help treat some diseases by allowing patients to inhale pure oxygen at more than one atmospheric pressure to alleviate tissue hypoxia and has been approved for the treatment of a variety of diseases such as necrotizing soft-tissue infections and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment has for centuries been used to improve or cure disorders involving hypoxia and ischemia, by enhancing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the plasma and thereby increasing O(2) delivery to the tissue.
2 paź 2012 · Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment has for centuries been used to improve or cure disorders involving hypoxia and ischemia, by enhancing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the plasma and thereby increasing O2 delivery to the tissue. Studies on HBO and cancer have up to recently focused on whether enhanced oxygen acts as a cancer promoter or not.
8 cze 2021 · Our results demonstrated that HBOT improved tissue angiogenesis, tumor hypoxia and increased tumor apoptosis to lung cancer cells in murine xenograft tumor models, through modifying the tumor hypoxic microenvironment. HBOT will merit further cancer therapy as an adjuvant treatment for solid tumors, such as lung cancer.
1 paź 2021 · Hyperbaric oxygen helps commercialized nanomedicine eliminate cancer stem-like cells. Abstract. Cancer stem-like cells (CSCs) depend highly on hypoxia in solid tumors and represent an intractable challenge for marketed nanomedicines.
