I'm using Windows 11 and purchased game through Epic Games. I restored Windows 11 to an image file from July 2023 and tested and HZD runs fine. I then did all the Windows updates only (no other software) and HZD is Crashing with the same message. So it's a Windows 11 update collision.

Hey guys, HZD was running fine for weeks without a single crash. Installed Windows 11 a few days ago - since then, the game will crash both during shader optimization and ingame after a few minutes.

10 sty 2024 · I can't launch or play at all, I get a black screen with the little feather cursor endlessly loading until it says it's not responding. I have to restart my computer every time I try something since Steam app will also get stuck on "Stopping" and never register that the game has closed.
To stop the service, go to Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), click the "Services" tab, then scroll down to "NahimicService", right click on it and click "Stop".
