27 kwi 2011 · The SWR meter tells you something about the impedance of the antenna, it tells nothing about the resonance frequency. Using a VNA or antenna analyser is therefore recommended. When not available the SWR meter will help you to get a working antenna, but the result might not be optimal.

This antenna covers 80 to 6 meters with low feed point impedance and will work with most radios, with or without an antenna tuner. It is approximately 100 feet long, can handle the legal limit, and is easy and inexpensive to build.

Searching for a design on the internet, I came across the usual suspect Martin, DK7ZB and followed one of his designs, the 4 Element 50 Ohm Yagi with 2.20m Boom. Martin has many designs for many antennas and you will definitely find what you want.
