Here's what goes in the blue cart: Paper and cardboard (please flatten) Plastic bottles, jugs, tubs, and cups (lids accepted, remove straws) Glass bottles and jars (all colors accepted) Metal cans and cups (remove aerosol tips)
When you recycle right, you really do make a difference. By recycling your materials, you help to reduce pollution, contribute to clean water, conserve limited natural resources, support jobs and local businesses and reduce central Ohio’s reliance on landfills.
SWACO operates a Drop-Off Recycling program to serve Franklin County residents. Annually about 6,000 tons of recyclable material is diverted from the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill through this program.
