Hawn State Park is a public recreation area located 14 miles (23 km) southwest of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. [5] The state park 's nearly 5,000 acres (2,000 ha) include three state-designated natural areas: Pickle Creek, LaMotte Sandstone Barrens, and Botkins Pine Woods.

Hawn State Park offers basic, electric and backpack campsites. The park also has a special-use camping area. You are now able to reserve your Missouri State Parks campsite up to 12 months in advance, expanding from the previous six-month window.
One of Missouri’s most scenic and unspoiled landscapes, Hawn is known for its pine trees and wild azaleas. The park features five hiking trails, including two that are also open to backpackers. Picnic sites, a shelter and a campground are also nestled under the pines.
