There is a plethora of 4K beatmaps that are significantly harder than freedom dive. In addition, the difficulty of maps is subjective and players will have different opinions on the ideal quantitative metric used for judging said difficulty.

22 cze 2017 · After making the osu! Progression video on Scarlet Rose, I had the idea of showcasing the actual hardest ranked beatmaps in the game in terms of star rating....
Currently the hardest ranked map is Time Freeze or Genryuu Kaiko Arguments could be made for maps which use low AR to be hard as well, like Astrosexy or BlythE (Osuka). The oldest songs as well can be extremely difficult.
