h2testw (v1.4) is another good Windows option but much slower as it fills up the drive completely and then verifies the data back. Gives you the average reads and writes over the duration of the test to get a good idea of minimum read/write performance as well to also check if you've been given a slower counterfeit with the right capacity.
Wasn't sure whether using H2testw + CrystalDiskMark would be a surefire way to know if you have a fake card on your hands. And also, whether either of these cards, after hypothetically passing both these 2 tests, would be likely to last around as long as one (of the same model/brand) from a brick-and-mortar retail store.
31 paź 2014 · Once you got the recommended maximum usable partition size (using a tool like h2testw, or FakeFlashTest that uses a quicker method) you can use RMPrepUSB to format it and limit it size, but as other answers told, the author also suggest to discard the drive as a trustable data holder.

6 sty 2020 · From reading here I decided to run h2testw on the SD card. I did not format it first because I wanted to test it in the same condition it was in since it was recently acting up. The test passed and also reported a good write speed. I forget the exact speed but let's just say it was 82.8 MB/s.
