Google Mock is an extension to Google Test for writing and using C++ mock classes. See the separate Google Mock documentation. More detailed documentation for googletest (including build instructions) are in its interior googletest/README.md file.

It's used by many internal projects at Google, as well as a number of notable projects such as The Chromium projects, the OpenCV computer vision library, and the LLVM compiler.
Import GoogleTest by using find_package (or pkg_check_modules). For example, if find_package(GTest CONFIG REQUIRED) succeeds, you can use the libraries as GTest::gtest, GTest::gmock. And a more robust and flexible approach is to build GoogleTest as part of that project directly.
