The God and Life curriculum is designed to help students understand their call to a life of discipleship. Curriculum Goals To provide opportunities for young people to: Strengthen their relationship with Christ; Be open to God’s calling in their lives; Make a plan for daily Bible reading; Experience the joy of serving others
Four Star Award – Young people who have earned the four core P.R.A.Y. awards (i.e. God and Me, God and Family, God and Church, and God and Life) in the correct order while in the appropriate grade (as evidenced by the P.R.A.Y. database) are eligible for the Four Star Award.
Award. The award given by the religious organization consists of a unique medal for each program— usually only worn on formal occasions. The award is also recognized by the wear of an embroidered square knot emblem— silver on purple for youth and purple on silver for adults.
15 maj 2023 · Religious emblems are for all members of the BSA that wish to pursue them. The Youth Awards are earned through work with the individual religious unit and the requirements for each are set by the church and not by BSA.
God & Life. For grades 9-12, the God and Life program is based on the life of the Apostle Paul as recorded in Acts 9:1-31. Purchasing awards requires you to “Register Youth” (i.e. provide information on the youth, congregation, clergy, etc.) for submission in reports sent to national youth organizations and religious committees.
