28 mar 2014 · I just recently purchased my first Glock and I choose a model 36. After shooting acouple of clips through it I noticed the recoil was pretty great and uncomfortable compared to my 1911s. My question is what can I do to tame the recoil down?

23 lut 2013 · The Glock 36 (left) has a slightly shorter and narrower frame than the Glock 19 (right). When handling the G36, I noticed that it pointed differently than the G19/G23s that I normally shoot. I also noticed that the frame was slightly narrower in front of, and above the trigger guard.
The recoil operation relies on dual captive springs and absorb most of the shock - and as a result, gives the shooter's hand a slight "handshake-nudge" at every fire. The comfortable placement of the bore axis also allows for rapid aim recovery and hence extended rapid fire sessions.
