12 paź 2014 · the 36 is single stack slim line narrower than the 30, and I think until the 42 was the narrowest gun they had. narrow is good for carry. downside is its 6+1 rounds. the 36 slide is also narrower than the 30 and 30sf, and front of slide is tapered.
11 sty 2019 · While it’s not necessarily the most compact .45 out there, the GLOCK 36 is a reliable and sturdy gun for daily CCW use. The general idea behind it is still sound, but is at this point the G36 is significantly outclassed by other .45 ACP pistols in the same genre.

The 36 has a slide width of just one inch, and an overall width of 1.18 inches as compared to 1.38 inches on a Gen 4 G30. That may not sound like much, but it makes all the difference in the world for concealed carry.
