Biography: Gerald Crabb. Gerald Douglas Crabb was born January 2, 1958 in the small rural town of Rosine, Kentucky. Rosine is the same town where Bill Monroe, the founder of Bluegrass music was born. At age 5 Gerald sang for the first time in public at a church in Louisville, Kentucky.
