Thought I'd post it again in light of the news. From what I can tell, my site is the only financially stable alternative to GeoGuessr. TLDR: Completely free (ad supported) and unlimited street view game at https://worldledaily.com. Locations are generated and you’re able to filter the type of locations you want to see.
19 gru 2020 · Have not heard about any free alternatives. There are still a few ways to play this for free though. You can either join challenges right here on Reddit or you can play along streamers doing challenges or ChatGuessr mode.
17 sty 2021 · By creating City Guesser, I hope to contribute and add value to the Geography and Geo-Guessing community. I don't know what I would be without GeoGuessr and the welcoming geography community here on Reddit. Also, since City Guesser show's real video, being able to hear sounds around you is a huge help for geo-guessing. 🔈

Feel free to discuss anything astronomical here, from what sort of telescope you should get, stargazing tips and tricks, to how to use that scope of yours that's been sitting around! Astrophotography is permitted as well, but feel free to check out /r/astrophotography for more of that.
21 cze 2022 · You have 2 game modes with 2 games every day to play (free account). One game mode is there you set your hiding spot and people need to guess it. Other one is to find the location that game has choosen. You have 30 seconds or 45 per round to guess it. Here i managed to find a location in 30 seconds... Hide and seek- https://hideandseek.world/

13 mar 2022 · As a big Geoguessr fan I need to correct this. Geoguessr was free super long time until Google decided to bill them for using streetview. Every time the site uses streetview, Google asks money for the use. So they were forced to monetize their game.
24 sie 2021 · I just used my free game to play "An Impressive World", and I LOVED it. All 5 locations were astonishingly beautiful and fun to try and find. With the being said, if anyone has the time, I request a couple of challenge links so I can play that map again.
There will never be a good free alternative to geoguessr. Google charges money for use of their API. Services that use the API need to recoup those costs somehow. I feel bad for you if you can't afford $3 a month.
