18 mar 2020 · When you receive the country flag equivalent of "US", it is interpreted as the United States flag. It means that it's up to each emoji implementation to interpret flag codes, which means that there is a potential PR nightmare to deal with in case a country isn't recognized internationaly. Should microsoft decide to recognize the Israelian flag ?
I was able to copy one of the image emojii and paste it in Word 2016 (not 365), but was not able to even copy the flag emojii. Send a request to MS to add this support: SEND FEEDBACK TO MS DEVELOPERS
On the Windows 10 onscreen keyboard, the flag emoji are completely missing. Not sure how everyone at QA overlooked this. Hm. Can someone at Microsoft please add them? Thanks! This is on the latest Creators Update, so no need to reply "try updating" and such 😗

They aren’t actually available on the emoji keyboard, I’m not exactly sure why but they aren’t; The only suggestion I can give is to submit your feedback using the feedback hub app, which you can locate in the start menu. Kind Regards, Elise
24 maj 2018 · Why is it that the biggest operating system in the world is missing these flags? Is there a known time frame as to when this might be implemented? also. is there a third party fix to this bug?
18 cze 2020 · If emoji not supported in your browser in unicode versions above 13, then you can user emoji library or browser extension in Internet Explorer. Some emojis like cursed emoji, sun emoji may look different while using third party library.
16 wrz 2021 · I am trying to add the Scottish flag EMOJI to part of my profile on my Xbox profile, however I have come across an issue when searching for the Scottish flag to copy/paste the flag Emoji. I searched for other emojis to see if the issue I'm having extends to other emojis such as smile, sad, cry, apple etc. - but the issue just seems to be with the flag emojis!
16 maj 2022 · Flag emojis are no longer displaying properly. For example, is displayed as "G B" with the letters in squares.
