12 maj 2023 · As Far Cry 6 just released on Steam - I wanna share some results of benchmarking Ultra Preset - AVG 32 FPS High Preset - AVG 39 FPS Medium Preset - AVG 44 FPS. Tested game using GE-Proton 8.3. TLDR - just limit game to 30 FPS on Ultra or to 40 on Medium & enjoy it p.s.
With the exception of Far Cry 2. The rest of them feel like the same formula, even primal. Far Cry 2 isn't perfect but it's a different experience that's worth playing through if you skipped it. Runs flawlessly on the deck. I'd replay Far Cry 3 over finishing Far Cry 6. I got bored with Far Cry 6.
11 maj 2023 · I give it a 6/10. it isn't awful or even bad, it just doesn't feel like a proper far cry game to me. they added new elements from games like the division and valhalla that just don't seem to fit imo. the main bad guy is underused, no human companions, oversized map, and the worst part for me is the entire maximas matanzas story arc. i hate hate hate it and it just kills the game for me. i do ...
9 paź 2021 · Yes you can. I'm currently having an outage in my area. I just started far cry 6 offline on PC. I do have ubisoft connect open but you can bypass all the syncing with the cloud. It does launch the game and you are able to play :).
19 lip 2022 · Do you even get the initial splash-screen for Far Cry 6? The later Far Cry games have a lot of dependencies (Direct X, Visual C Runtimes) and a lot can go wrong during their installation, but the Installer should really take care of all that for you.
11 maj 2023 · I have Far Cry, Far Cry 2, Far Cry Blood Dragon, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal and Far Cry 5 on my Deck and I don't think even combined, they are 172gb... Even FF7 Remake is only like 105gb... Reply reply

11 paź 2021 · I tried everything, form changes in game config (things that worked in past Far Cry's), changes in Nvidia Panel, turning off CFG, turning off Full Screen Optimizations, playing with games settings (max FPS, VSync etc.), turning on and off Gsync, nothing worked.

I'd rather buy steam game, than from any other platform for multiple reasons. 1st steam can be cheaper, if u know how to buy from it, 2nd the steam platform is more simple and fun to use, 3rd the review system is great on the steam, 4th u get points from buying steam games and u can customize your profile as u like with many options, 5th all my friends are on steam.
