Went through the same process. Never had Facebook before and wanted to use marketplace. Opened new account about a month ago and it stopped working correctly. Waited the 30 day period out to close it. Attempted to reopen/reboot the account and the AI required a new email address. Opened account and got denied access in a few hours.

This happened to me a month ago, someone gained access to my account, changed the email and enabled two-factor authentication, after going thru the loop many times, I managed to recovery my account and I changed the email to a new email, and enabled two-factor authentication for myself.

However, keep in mind that Facebook has a policy against creating multiple accounts, and if they detect that you have created a new account after your previous one was disabled, they may disable the new account as well.
