As others have said, offering daily and killing bosses are the ticket to increasing your Prestige. Normal bosses (Ifrit, Fafnir, Phoenix, Etc.) offer substantially more Prestige than most event bosses. High level Regular monsters can be good sources as well. Some very basic tips that can help:
