Eve Luckring is a visual artist and writer based in Los Angeles who works primarily in video, photography, installation, sound, and poetry. For the past many years, she has been translating traditional Japanese poetic forms into the visual realm to negotiate the contested binaries of nature/culture, subject/object, and self/world.
