13 mar 2010 · The two words evade and dodge seem to be very similar in meaning. Even though I looked up the dictionary, I cannot find out in which context evade is used or dodge is used. For example, in the following sentence which one is correct? He dodged( or evaded) doing military service. He dodged( or evaded) paying the fee.

21 lip 2019 · I don't think "overcome" collocates with "issue" Though you may find some very specific context where they might collocate - probably one where "issue" should actually be replaced with "problem/obstacle" - I believe you either "deal with/tackle/explore an issue" or "avoid/evade an issue"
