2 cze 2020 · Hi, I have downloaded the latest version of Etcher V1.5.95 on a Windows 10 Home and when I try to install it it hangs forever at “Installing, please wait…” as you can see in the image attached I have even tried to change the compatibility options here without any luck.
3 wrz 2020 · Installed a fresh Windows 10 Pro, and the only way around this issue is to start cmd as administrator and then call etcher from there. Running as administrator has no effect…. 27 cze 2024 · made an account just to post this. ran into the same trouble looking for the portable version. hit up the github releases page Releases · balena-io/etcher · GitHub (might have to hit the little drop down arrow on “Assets”) and download the latest balenaEtcher-win32-x64-XXXXX.zip file if youre looking for the portable version. 1 Like.
24 lip 2020 · This is for an old Mac. I had put the app on a usb stick as the Mac has internt connection problems and doesn’t look like its ever been given any updates while being used. I downloded the Mac balencaEtcher.app from the pc then plugged the usb into the mac. I downloaded Ubuntu added the iso image to a dvd and put dvd into the mac dvd drive.

21 sty 2023 · you download and install etcher, no install needed if it is the portable version. you launch etcher. you click the Flash from file and select the tails img you downloaded at the first step. you click the second button in ether Select target and you select a pendrive/sdcard/ssd where you want to flash Tails.

24 wrz 2021 · The second thing to try, is to use the “Standalone” version of Etcher, which you can download from balenaEtcher - Flash OS images to SD cards & USB drives, click on the down-arrow next to Download, and select “Etcher for Windows (x86|x64) (Portable)”. 11 lis 2019 · Makes sense, I was looking around in the forums and found this thread Trying to build Etcher on Raspberry Pi 4 which seems to tell a very similar story up to the packaging issues. If you have time and want to give some pointers in that thread I am sure it will be very helpful for other users.
